That reads a little weird to me since I think I am 39 years old. I started on the banking/finance side. I’ve worked with countless dealers helping them help their customers get financing. I have always worked with folks that are contemplating filing a BK, just filed a BK or recently discharged. I then transitioned to the retail side. Yes I worked for a dealership for 13 years. Wow is that an eye-opening experience. The giant quantity of money it takes to run one is astounding, but they pass the expense on to the consumer. For the majority of the time I spent in retail I helped folks with credit problems get reliable transportation, yet I feel I have never sold a car. I only helped people in their own personal situation get what they were needing. After seeing what dealers spend to run their operation, I felt there had to be a better way. Hi my name is Daniel. A little about me. I have been in the car business since I was about 4 years old. Yes, I am a spawn of a car person. I have been in dealerships since before I started kindergarten. Once I graduated, I went to college and then found my way back to what was ingrained in me. I have worked at the finance companies that loaned money to people that were having credit issues, then I went to work at a dealership. My focus has always been helping people with credit issues. Having worked at the finance companies, I have a unique understanding how to pair up the right customer with the right lending institution. That being said, it is an arduous process for the consumer to go to a dealership. I too felt there is a better way.
